Communications Intern -
The Glacier Conservancy is committed to reaching new audiences and expanding philanthropic endeavors to preserve and protect Glacier National Park for generations to come. Native Spanish speakers and the Latinx community represent the largest group of people where the Conservancy’s messaging and outreach do not have a presence. This has been identified as the greatest area of potential growth and return-on-investment within the organization. The Conservancy plans to translate it’s online content into Spanish, creating a fully bilingual messaging strategy that will reach more than 41 million native Spanish speakers in America and over 512 million Spanish speakers worldwide. Bringing in a talented student fluent in Spanish will allow for an authentic and effective translation of the Conservancy’s online messaging and content. The intern will work closely with Glacier Conservancy staff to implement a strategy for social media outreach in the Latinx community, ensuring an authentic, culturally sensitive, and bilingual messaging campaign.
