Come join our team as a Climate Resilience Field Intern! Explore the stunning beauty of the Eastern Sierra while contributing to community-based research to improve the social and ecological resilience of forests to climate change.

In Europe, drowning emerged as a notable form of accidental death in the mid-18th century. The project involves the design, casting, and display of six medals, each of which offers an artistic rendition of these medals. 

The Doerr School of Sustainability offers undergraduates paid summer research opportunities in any area of sustainability, including Earth, environment, energy, oceans, and engineering.

Our aim is to deliver a set of recommendations for municipalities and developers to implement that support the wellbeing of low-income renters and reduce negative impacts of new policies and retrofits.

Gain first-hand experience in community organizing, apply your research skills to help build awareness of climate and environmental injustices at Stanford's doorstep, and help expand the capacity of a grassroots organization working for change.

Support a new grassroots organization in the community of North Fair Oaks, adjacent to Redwood City, seeking to empower community members and build resilience to heat waves, wildfire impacts, and other climate risks.

Gain real world experience in public engagement and environmental advocacy projects, connecting with diverse stakeholders and co-leading an educational program that empowers underserved communities to foster resiliency in their communities.

Create educational materials, attend policy meetings, and conduct research on environmental justice projects that ultimately equip and empower community members to advocate for change.

This fellowship offers the opportunity to work with an innovative government agency in San Mateo County and gain real-world experience in the political and/or technical dimensions of planning and implementing climate-resilient infrastructure.
