About the company: Alpha Direct is an exciting and vibrant young company, operating in the insurance and insuretech space in Africa. Located at the Botswana Innovation Hub (dubbed the "Silicon Valley of Africa") in Gaborone, we are a young and energetic team of insurance professionals looking to transform Africa through innovation.
Project Description: As with any fast growing start-up, we have reached a point in three years where our team of 60 people are moving towards a greater reliance on technology driven processes in each and every single area of operation. We have a need to complete detailed process-flow maps of all our processes and functions within the organization and design and develop ways to improve process flow, create greater accountability, and simplify on-boarding and training of new employees. We seek a relevant undergrad or graduate student to join our team for the summer and have fun developing and implementing a full set of process maps for all the organization's functions, make recommendations for process improvements, and assist in their implementation. Join a real high-growth enterprise and work side-by-side with department managers, our HR manager, operations manager and COO. Work directly with our managers and help achieve our dream of financial inclusion in Africa, while being part of an energetic and vibrant team.
