About the company: PIL is an indigenous agro-allied company established in 2005 to market cassava produce and which later expanded to include farm development and production of food grade starch from cassava. PIL was established to elevate the business of farming in rural areas by creating a production value chain for farm produce using innovative processes.
Project Description: PIL established its 20-ton/day starch factory in 2012 and an additional production line of 30 tons/day capacity in 2015 to meet greater customer demand. With 400 hectares of company cassava farmland located at Alayide-Wasimi Village, Ado-Awaye, Oyo State, a farming community of about 10,000 hectares of farmland, we are close to our farmers and listen to their concerns through our out-grower scheme. Our products are made with pride.
