About the company: Ruai Family Hospital is a low-cost health facility targeting lower- and middle-income earners who form the majority in our geographies. We are revolutionizing traditional healthcare in Kenya with our model. Our customers have shown that they enjoy personalized and affordable services which the other hospitals don’t seem to offer as well as we do.
Project Description: We are setting up a multispecialty hospital that will bring specialized medical services to locals at rates they can relate to. This, given the environment we operate in, is quite a big risk. We will need to constantly evaluate our value chain to make sure we are operating at optimum levels. We are therefore looking for an intern who will work alongside us in identifying gaps, proposing (and predicting) our requirements before we even need them. This will be a great chance to experience first hand what running an impact-based and a fast-growing health venture entails. Projects are expected to be in the lines of finance and value chain in general. None of us knew we would be doing what we are currently doing at Ruai Family Hospital six years ago. But the lives we have touched, and continue to touch, are a testimony of what will be left when we are long gone. Hopefully, you join us as a contribution to universal health coverage.
