This student will work directly with Stanford Seed’s Evaluation and Learning division to improve Seed’s data analytics in order to contribute to program improvement. The intern will support the transition to a new impact measurement software package, build analytics and data visualizations, support program monitoring, and conduct data validation. This student will help Seed make actionable program improvements which help Seed achieve its mission. Applicants should have a passion for developing economies, strong spreadsheet and analytical skills, background/interest in databases and data visualizations, an interest in working with firms in emerging markets, and interpersonal skills.
What you will do
Impact measurement system enhancement: Support the build out of a new impact measurement software system. Build reports and dashboards in the new system called Amp Impact (which sits within Salesforce), work in Tableau to create new visualizations that can lead to better decision-making.
Leader and staff training of new system: Develop survey training documents and/or videos for leaders to complete surveys and for staff to use the new system.
Data quality improvement: Contact companies in Africa and India that don’t respond to the Seed Annual Survey to collect information on their status and support needs.
Program monitoring: Streamline program monitoring surveys and analysis.
