Get Paid Conducting Research with the Papers of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Work with a local climate justice organization to launch a new initiative to engage middle and high school student leaders on climate justice issues in East Palo Alto, Menlo Park and North Fair Oaks. 

This fellowship is intended to support PhD students to work on a well-defined research project that addresses a social problem. Fellows will work under the mentorship of a faculty member as part of a team of scholars.

SIG's Stipends Program provides funding for students who wish to participate in self-arranged public policy internships. Unfortunately, we cannot offer funding for international positions this quarter.

Help launch a new research project focused on the history and current shape of water conflicts in the Central Coast of California, with a particular focus on Monterey County.

Contribute to research to inform how international river basin organizations in the American West and globally manage transboundary water quality, while building skills in qualitative data collection and analysis.

Contribute to research on understanding public perceptions of carbon dioxide removal policies, with a particular focus on California, and a special emphasis on equity considerations.

Spend your summer in a full-time, paid internship with the faculty of Stanford Health Policy conducting health policy research. Stanford undergrads of all majors welcome to apply — no experience needed. 

Contribute to research on the Bill Lane Center's on-going research projects or propose your own research related to western land and life in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

A stipend is provided for the 10 week, full-time summer session. Students will have the opportunity to select a project and work as part of a faculty’s research group.
