Engineering in Service International Fellows have the opportunity to spend a summer working full time with a supervisor/mentor in an international organization of their choice. This application is for graduate students only, for undergraduates please see the appropriate application.
Overview of Responsibilities
Applicants propose their own placements in collaboration with their potential host organization. The application should effectively demonstrate that the intended partner organization has the need, interest and capacity to work with a fellow/intern and to support the proposed work plan.
Applicants will also propose a suitable academic mentor in order to help them highlight options that assist with preparation for and follow up on the summer learning experience.
Program Costs
Each Engineering in Service International Fellow receives a base stipend to support travel and living expenses during the summer. Financial aid and supplemental funding is available to students who qualify.

Applications are ac cepted on a rolling basis. complete applications will be reviewed as they are submitted. Finalists will be notified shortly to come in for a short in-person interview. Candidates will be selected based on the quality and appropriateness of their application.
Eligibility and Requirements:
-All School of Engineering graduate students in good academic standing are eligible to apply.
-International students must check with the Bechtel International Center as to whether or not their immigration status will allow them to be enrolled in a course over the summer.
