Our laboratory investigates the development of hair cells and supporting cells in the mouse inner ear to better understand the mechanisms behind hearing loss and balance disorders, and is looking for motivated undergraduate students who want to take part in a project studying supporting cell development in the mouse utricle. We use histologic, imaging, and single-cell RNA sequencing techniques.
We are seeking undergraduate student with a biomedical, computational, or related background who has a strong interest in bioinformatics and can commit at least 3 hours per week to research.
