Mitchell Scholarship Campus Application 2023

The Mitchell Scholarship offers opportunities for graduate study in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Note: Please include all components of the Mitchell application: Here they are:

APPLICATION CHECKLIST

1. Mitchell Campus Cover Sheet

• Fillable PDF available on the Office of Global Scholarships OGS website
• The cover sheet must be typed not hand-written.

2. Curriculum Vitae / Resume (2-page maximum)

3. Mitchell Personal Statement (1,000 words maximum)

• The personal statement is your opportunity to express your goals and passion(s) and address why the Mitchell Scholarship and studying in Ireland and/or Northern Ireland makes sense for your future.

4. Transcripts (scanned into a single PDF)

• Please do not upload an encrypted transcript.
• An unofficial transcript is fine for the initial application.
• If you have attended other institutions beyond Stanford, you must include those transcripts as part of your PDF. 

5. OGS Scholarship Nomination Permission Form and Waiver

• Download available from OGS
• Must be signed and dated before submission

6. Digital Photo - A recent passport-style photo or professional headshot – (JPG, PNG, PDF)

7. Four Letters of Recommendation

• Reminder: Mitchell Letters of Recommendation have a 750-word limit.

• Recommenders submit their letters through SOLO for our campus process by the campus deadline.

• Note for Recommenders:  If the Mitchell applicant is endorsed, the recommender will also need to submit their letter of recommendation again through the official Mitchell online application system.
