Reminder: Mitchell Letters of Recommendation have a 750-word limit.
Recommenders submit their letters through SOLO for our campus process by the campus deadline.
Notefor Recommenders: If the Mitchell applicant is endorsed, the recommender will also need to submit their letter of recommendation again through the official Mitchell online application system.
Eligibility and Requirements:
A candidate for the Mitchell Scholarship Program must meet all the following criteria:
Be a U.S. citizen
Be 18 years of age or older, but not yet 30, on October 1st in the year in which you are applying
Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university before beginning study as a Mitchell Scholar.
Stanford Mitchell applicants must have been in contact with the Office of Global Scholarships, Bechtel International Center prior to the campus submission deadline.
