The question under consideration is whether characteristics of the vaginal microbiome can predict the success or failure of in vitro fertilization. Our role in this work is to collect samples of the vaginal microbiome in spontaneously pregnant women to define what normal looks like. Your role will be to consent the patients for the IRB approved study, and if time permits, help with results tracking and the data. While Spanish would be helpful, translation services are always available. The samples will be analyzed by our partners at Pari Biosciences, who will also do the data analysis.
