Project Description: KAD Manufacturing is looking for an intern who could join its social enterprise/development component to empower young girls and the vulnerable with skills to fit into the apparel manufacturing industry in Ghana. Initial work to set up this project has been done regarding paper work, and the intern would continue this process.

Today, Bsystems Ltd. is a systems and software development company that has developed enterprise applications and state-of-the-art solutions for financial institutions and insurance firms. Currently, the company is embarking on developing fintech and regtech applications for financial and fintech firms.
About the company leadership: The CEO of the company came from Oracle Corp. and has over the years employed a very young and dynamic team to spearhead the company’s mission and vision in the six countries that Bsystems operates in. The team members are open to new ideas and willing to learn.
Project Description: Bsystems is seeking an intern to help streamline its accounting and business process and to evaluate the cost of products and services; pricing them has become a challenge. The intern would also help to align the business’s HR, IT, finance, and marketing strategy. Hence, the intern would identify gaps in the company to align them with the company’s mission. The final deliverable would be a template that the company could use to track employees’ work, the workflow from all departments’ costs, pricing strategy, and a financial worksheet that could be used to determine Bysystem’s profitabilty in all departments.

Project Description: Accents and Arts is looking for an intern to help design, develop, and test the prototype for the company’s intended market. As part of its financial growth strategy, Accents and Arts intends to engage engineers and a design team to develop a modular range of their most popular balustrade designs. This product will cater to aspirational clients, contractors, real estate developers, and industry professionals who are looking for well-priced, off-the-mill products with ease of installation. These will be sold through builders’ outlets, sales agents, and online. Accents and Arts believes this will make its products more accessible to the consumer and allow them the ease of placing orders.
In addition, another role assigned to the intern would be to upgrade the machine shop to include computerized models to allow large-scale mechanization and production in real time. Overall, Accents and Arts is looking at new and emerging markets within the sub-region backed by a good caliber of human resource personnel to propel our vision forward.

Project Description:
The Marketing Department at Hubtel is in search of a Product Marketing Intern. With the support of the Market Engagement and Customer Experience teams, the intern will be spearheading a brand new customer-facing loyalty application. Leveraging the Brand, access to rich data and an existing customer base of businesses, the intern will work closely with the Product Manager to adapt and deliver every aspect of our consumer market-share-grab strategy.
Key Activities:
Daily activities will involve campaign concepting, briefing, planning and implementation in partnership with internal stakeholders. Responsibilities will include guiding the development and rollout of advertising creatives, collateral for campaigns and promotions across relevant channels.
Outcomes:
Success will be based on conversion rates from site traffic, app downloads and app store ratings. The internship will conclude with a report on progress made, presented to the entire company at one of our relaxed monthly product reviews.

Hubtel's Product Management & Design (PM&D) team is looking to recruit an intern to help design and implement a framework to measure and improve the usability of Hubtel's business-centric products. At the end of the period, the PM&D Intern will have worked with Product Managers, UX Designers and Engineers to implement a framework that identifies problematic operations within products and tracks improvements when optimizations are applied.
Key Activities:
1. Daily stand-up meetings with product teams to understand on-going work
2. Frequent meetings with Customer Support team to understand potential pain-points
3. Identification and documentation of key user operations within business-centric
products
4. Design metrics relevant to each documented operation
5. Track daily performance for each documented operation
6. Work with PMs and Designers to implement optimizations
Outcomes
1. A proven framework for identifying and measuring problematic usage areas in
products
2. A report that describes how this framework was used in improving at least one key
user operation.

Project Description:
Hubtel is currently looking to recruit an intern to its System Engineering team to work on a project to consolidate its technology infrastructure using containers on a cloud provider. At the end of the project, the intern would have worked with Software Engineers, Product Managers, the Chief Technical officer and the Finance team to reduce Hubtels’ IT infrastructure costs, containerize existing legacy and new applications and also ensure consistency and standardization across multiple development and release cycles by providing repeatable development, build, test and production environments.
Key Activities:
1. Introspection of existing applications to be migrated to containers
2. Identification and resolution of security concerns related to the project
3. Containerize new and legacy applications
4. Container Orchestration
5. Twice weekly stand-up meetings to discuss ongoing work and challenges

1. Standard base development environment for Software Engineers to accelerate
application development and delivery.
