Project Description: BellaNaija is seeking an intern who would focus on reviewing and providing initial solutions to the operational processes and marketing procedure of the company. BellaNaija aims to influence the Nigerian market and subsequently the entire African continent by increasing knowledge and exposure of their audience to international standards around lifestyle and entertainment through the use of digital media.
The current model and business operations have not been optimal in increasing the company's opportunities to achieve the desired revenue to drive this growth. Hence, the desired outcome of the intern's project would be to enable BellaNaija to better understand established and successful sources of revenue and profit generation for a digital media group seeking to increase presence and impact in Africa and elsewhere. The intern would also get an opportunity to contribute and support the team with innovative approaches to their operations and assist the team to achieve the desired changes towards transformation. Project Description: Softcom is seeking an intern who would work with our engineering, product design, business development, and strategy teams to take the company’s new products to the market (all due to be launched in Q1 2018) and drive market leadership for them. More specifically, the intern would help build four products that address the following segments:
- Identity: A product that will enable businesses and organizations to effectively identify their people and to deliver a vast range of identity-based services to them online and offline.
- Payment: A peer-to-peer payment product that ensures that all segments of the society (banked, unbanked, underbanked) can all transact between and within their ecosystems via a simple robust platform that is available both online and offline.
