Sophomore College: the perfect end to summer
SoCo is more than a class, it’s an experience. Taking one class during the last three weeks of summer, you might visit a mine in Montana, desalinization plant in Southern California, or a theater festival. Design an improvement for the healthcare system, or spend some time with the otters in Monterey. Unlock the excitement and wonder of humanities research or explore the mythology of California and queer cultures of the bay area. Learn more about guaranteed income, immerse yourself in Spanish, or learn to DJ! Walk some great battlefields. One way or another, you'll learn, explore, create, and make lifelong connections.

Open to all frosh and first-year transfers.
SoCo is an intensive, immersive experience so cannot have substantive conflicts from Sept 2 to Sept 20.
