Sophomores majoring in life or physical sciences or engineering can apply for this research opportunity. Students are matched with a postdoc mentor who will guide them on a research project. Students also take a 1-credit class in winter and spring while working in their lab. The class provides lab skills and professional development and allows students to develop community among participants. During the summer, students work full time in the lab and continue to meet with their cohort weekly. The program culminates with students presenting at departmental poster sessions and a ChEM-H poster session.
