The Vogel Collaborative Neuromuscular Research Initiative is recruiting a research assistant.

The research assistant would be hired primarily for the purpose of archiving diagnostic frozen muscle biopsies which have been retained for over 30 years and which would be highly useful in an era of neuromuscular research which has developed significant molecular and genetic probes. Once selected disease specimens are catalogued and archived, the assistant may then participate in related research projects in which Dr. Vogel is collaborating with Neuromuscular neurologists and Stanford School of Medicine genetics researchers.

The research assistant would coordinate availability with Dr. Vogel and corresponding administrative aides for 4-8 hours/week.
