What is CSWS?

The Community Service Work-Study (CSWS) Program provides academic year and summer employment opportunities for currently enrolled students who receive financial aid at Stanford. It allows them to combine the financial need to work with the personal goal of helping the community.

The Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies (CREEES) has limited funds available to support Stanford graduate students for travel to conferences focused on Russian, East European and Eurasian studies.

This program explores South Africa’s heritage crisis through collaborative, community-centered practice. Students work across cities and the Karoo to rethink preservation, learn ethical curation, and build digital heritage stories using GIS and archival tools.

CREEES is offering grants for Stanford Ph.D. students whose research plans have been disrupted by the war in Ukraine.  

Test your fit with an entrepreneurial career path by interning at an early-stage, environmental sustainability-focused company for the summer, with a salary supplemented by Stanford. 

Seeking a research assistant to archive 30+ years of frozen muscle biopsies for neuromuscular research, may join related projects with Dr. Vogel and Stanford collaborators using molecular and genetic tools to study disease mechanisms. 

Arts Intensive Apprentices (AIAs) help facilitate every aspect of the immersive Arts Intensive experience, from 29 August to 19 September 2025.
