The Europe Center invites applications from graduate and professional students at Stanford University whose research or work focuses on Europe.

The Stanford Center at Peking University (SCPKU) provides Stanford doctoral students with a home base to advance their dissertation research in China. 

The Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment invites Stanford students to submit proposals for Mel Lane funding for student-driven projects that make a measureable impact on an environmental issue.

ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be graduate or professional students or post-docs at Stanford University at the time of the application and at the time of eligible travel.  
AWARD DETAILS: Up to $250 per person per event for in-state travel; up to $500 per person per event for out-of-state travel.  Awards will be announced quarterly.  Apply early!

Want to study Arabic this summer? Need funding for a research project? Looking to support an internship? Apply for a grant of up to $5,000 from the Abbasi Program in Islamic Studies.

We invite proposals for projects relating to Islam or Muslim societies in any region of the world and historical time period.  Abbasi grants can help support projects undertaken during this summer or in the next academic year.
