Help American Rivers’ California Central Valley team restore and revitalize urban streams while increasing climate resiliency and nature access for historically-marginalized communities in the greater Sacramento region.

Working with Heyday’s editorial team, the intern will become an integral part of a bustling small publishing house with a focus on California and the American West.

Come spend the summer at CalTrout’s Mount Shasta office, where you will work and learn about the science of springs and help restore and protect habitat for wild fish in some of the most beautiful places in the headwaters of far northern California!
