About the company: Farm Support Group is in the business of poultry farming, manufacturing, and supply of poultry inputs and outputs. We add value to agriculture in Nigeria by servicing the needs of livestock farmers, poultry feedmillers, distributors, consumers and prospective farmers with high-quality products. We also render consultancy services in farm planning, procurement, etc.
Project Description: One of our ambitious goals in our five-year projection plan is to produce and sell 12,000 trays of egg daily. However, we are faced with different mitigating factors that may impede the sales of the product. One major factor is glut. Therefore, the need to devise means of ensuring smooth sales all year round is crucial to the achievement of this goal. Our current customer segments will not guarantee expected sales. Farm Support Group is looking for an intern who will work with the sales department of one of our product lines (table eggs) with the primary aim of creating new market/customer segments, researching and developing the product to further meet the demands that current and new customers are willing to pay for.
