About the company: WOOD-ET AL is a multinational furniture manufacturing company incorporated in Nigeria in 2002. Our bespoke services are designed to match each client’s space to their lifestyle. We offer cabinetry, joinery, and furniture using prevailing technology that enables us to deliver quickly to our clients.
Project Description: The supply of office furniture to multinationals in Africa is a key component of our marketing strategy and as such the intern will be exposed to building relationships with high level executives across sub- Saharan Africa. WOOD-ET AL Ltd. is looking to achieve a sales target of $100 million as a part of its transformation. The intern will design a strategic plan to hit a target turnover of $50 million over four years from 2020 for the office furniture segment by assessing and identifying new markets. The marketing plan will include adapting designs of current product lines to new markets, research on customer preferences and buying patterns, identifying lucrative segments for this product line, and market sizing of the lucrative segment. The outcome of this would be a clear implementation/action plan of the strategic marketing plan; the intern will work closely with sales and designs teams.
