Hillel Cardinal Quarter

If you're excited about gaining work experience and interning with a Jewish organization, you've come to the right place!
Cardinal Quarter is a full-time, paid public service experience designed to integrate your academic learning with field-based experience. Dedicate your summer to addressing an issue you care about with a partner organization. If you've secured or are working to secure an unpaid internship with a Jewish lens that you plan to dedicate your summer to, APPLY NOW to be a Cardinal Quarter fellow through Hillel.
Requirements to apply:
-Full time, otherwise unpaid summer internship for 8-10 weeks with a Jewish organization
-Have completed at least 2 quarters as a full time Stanford student by the start of your internship
What you can expect from us:
-$6,500 in baseline summer stipend, with a potential addition for high cost of living areas
-Frequent mentorship and check-ins from Hillel staff
-Activities designed to prepare you for your role and help you get the most out of your service experience
-Becoming a part of the broader public service community at Stanford

- Students must have completed two full-time enrolled quarters this academic year by the time their opportunity begins.
- Students can only participate by taking a Flex Term during their fellowship experience.
Undergraduates from all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply, and applicants may vary in academic interests, public service involvement, and experience. Priority will be given to students who have completed fewer than two previous Cardinal Quarter opportunities. Graduating seniors will have lower priority. Students who have begun their coterm programs are not eligible to apply.
Note: Students are only eligible for one Stanford-funded full-time experiential learning opportunity during the 2020-21 academic year (inclusive of summer).
