CREEES Travel/Research Grants for Graduate Students

Summer Language Grant 

The Globalizing Eurasia Grant is multi-country summer research grant that is intended for undergraduate and graduate students who plan to conduct research in two or more countries in Russia, Central and East Europe, the Caucasus, or Central Asia.

FLAS Fellowships for Summer Intensive Language Study

The Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies (CREEES) has limited funds available to support Stanford graduate students for travel to conferences focused on Russian, East European and Eurasian studies.

The Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies (CREEES) invites applications for travel grants for short-term study and research trips between December and May to Estonia and the Baltic Sea Region from currently enrolled Stanford graduate students.

CREEES is offering grants for Stanford Ph.D. students whose research plans have been disrupted by the war in Ukraine.  

Arts + Justice Student Grants fund undergraduate and graduate students as they investigate urgent matters around justice issues and the arts. 

Discretionary funding for music-related external activities for Stanford students who are/have been enrolled in a Department of Music course.

Apply to receive support and training from the Haas Center to develop, design, and teach a community-engaged learning (CEL) course in your area of expertise or interest that may be offered during the 2025 Stanford Summer Session.
