DWR protects, conserves, develops, and manages much of California's water supply. This includes the State Water Project (SWP), the nation’s largest state-built water conveyance program, which also produces hydroelectric power.

CESTA's Research Interns collaborate on faculty-led projects throughout the academic year. Through structured training, experimentation with cutting-edge technologies, and mentorship, Interns develop valuable academic and professional skills. 

SIG's Stipends Program provides funding for students who wish to participate in self-arranged public policy internships.

Supports undergraduate students conducting research related to low-income youth in California.

SIG's Fellowships Program provides highly-qualified students with meaningful exposure to the public policy process through a number of paid spring and summer fellowships pre-arranged by SIG. These are offered in government and nonprofit agencies.

The objective of this program is to provide opportunities for Stanford Graduate students to spend 8-12 weeks in Germany in internship positions or performing research at local institutions.

Microgrids are trending in our community nowadays due to the need for resilience and reliability during extreme weather events.  Spend 8 weeks this summer working remotely with fellow students as a team on the analysis of Microgrid cases.

The Office of Planning and Research (OPR) supports California's Governor on long-range planning and research. This intern will work on a variety of high-level policy projects related to climate mitigation, adaptation, and resilience.

We invite students with interests in the intersection of chemistry, biology, and business to apply to this program. Students work in teams, mentored by a local biotech professional, to pitch a biotech company to address an unmet medical need.
